    Welcome to Tropic Designs, Inc.  My name is Liz and I have been designing with seashells for years.  It began as a hobby collecting beautiful shells along the beaches of the Chesapeake Bay and along the Atlantic ocean.  I now collect shells from the beautiful beaches of Naples and Sanibel Island in Florida.  If you are like me, you cannot just walk the beach without stopping to pick up the pretty shells.    

    I live in Naples, FL. in a home that you would find seashell designs in every room.  Every year, our Christmas tree is completely decorated with seashell ornaments that I make throughout the year.

    Several years ago I began to make small trees made of seashells complete with a string of lights.  This eventually launched a business that has been both rewarding and successful.  This business is now a full time entity.

    In addition to my design accomplishments,  I was honored this past December by being featured in the National HGTV Ideas magazine.

    These designs are perfect for your home decor any time of the year.  My business has expanded and I am now filling custom orders to fit into specific home color decors.  Colorful flowers or potpourri are added to bring a special elegance to the designs.
